1/7 Yoko PVC [Real Image Ver.]

This might not be your usual animated Yoko, but this seductive real image version of Yoko by MaxFactory is  now available for preorder.

She is scheduled for release in September and will be retailing for 9,800 yen.Interested folks can place your preorder at Hobby Search or Toylet.

So which version do you prefer? The anime version or this real image version? For me, I think this version makes her look really older than she should look. She’s only 16! For god sake …

Eh eh, “a face like that of a horse”, may be a bit true :D Anyway, I find this one very beautiful. It’s indeed very different from the original model, but I like the personnal aspect of the work, like the personnal vision of the sculptor (damn, I don’t find my words…) I won’t buy it, but I like it.

I remember last year some company made another Yoko “real image” or something like that, but her face was a little bit asiatic. I saw the pics in a blog and looks really amazing, with a lot of details in the skin.

I like this collection of figures who look more realistic than just big eyes from anime.

  6. Densha Otoko says:

Wouldn’t buy that figure . I like anime for a reason you know

The quality as a whole looks good, but like a lot of people I’m not so keen on the face. I do like some of the realistic interpretations of anime characters, but I don’t really like Yoko’s expression on this one. Also, something about the angle of her hips looks awkward and unnatural to me. The way they did her hair and outfit look great, though.
