Yesterday, the lovely 24-year-old Emiri Miyasaka 宮坂 絵美里 was crowned Miss Universe Japan 2009 in Tokyo.

The judges included Miss Universe Japan National Director Ines Ligron, singer Shizuka Kudo, Lotte Marines manager Bobby Valentine, Miss Universe 2006 runner-up Kurara Chibana, TV personality Girolama Panzetta and DJ/Navigator Chris Peppler.
I like this photo of her being hugged by her fellow competitors after the she was announced as the winner:

Anyway, the theme of the competition was “1950s Hollywood,” so she did a smoking hot dance number from the musical “Chicago”.

Miyasaka will represent Japan at the Miss Universe final on Aug 23 in Nassau, Bahamas.
