Final Fantasy Effect: PS3 Sales Almost Tripled

Thanks to the recent release of the Final Fantasy Advent Children Blu-ray Bundle, the sales figure for PS3 in Japan has almost tripled for the month of April 2009 in comparison to the sale figure of April 2008.

Enterbrain reports that more than 109,000 units of PS3 were sold for the month of April, exceeding last year’s sales figure by 288%.

I would love to see the PS3 sales figure for Japan when Square Enix officiallly launch FFXIII in Winter 2009.
