If you think the streets of Japan are safe, you might want to take that back. A innocent pedestrian was beaten to death by a total stranger and the only reason was because the man wanted to beat someone up.

According to police, the suspect, a 26-year-old construction worker identified as Natsuhito Ito, was walking with three acquaintances after a drinking session.
Ito’s companions told police that he suddenly turned around and started kicking and punching a man who had been walking behind them in the Okubo area. Ito’s friends tried to stop him but he shook them off and continued assaulting the victim on the ground, police said.
Although Ito went home after the attack, his friends remained at the scene and called an ambulance. The victim was taken to hospital, suffering a skull fracture. Doctors said he died Thursday morning, after 11 hours in intensive care. The cause of death was brain contusion.
He even told the police:
It didn’t matter who, I just felt like beating someone.

I hope he gets beaten up really good when the police sends him to jail. I’m sure the inmates would enjoy beating him up as well.
