Following last year record setting attendance, The Tokyo International Anime Fair 2009 had announced an even higher number of visitors, totaling 129,819 for the four day event, including the 1,133 overseas businessmen and 1,472 media folks.

There is a 2.5% increase in the number of visitors, setting the new record for the highest number of visitor.

The next Tokyo Anime Fair is scheduled for 25th-28th March 2010 and will continue to be held at Tokyo Big Sight.
