The weekend has passed and amazingly … Dragonball Evolution did excellent at the box office. It managed to capture the #1 top spot for China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand!
It also did pretty well in Japan, missing the top spot which went to Yatterman.

I wonder if its really that good or there are just tons of curious folks who went to the theatre to find out how it fared compared to the classic anime series.

I don´t think it is “amazing” that this movie did excellent at the BO because there was a heavy marketing campaign by FOX, and also Dragon ball is a well known anime franchise around the world and especially in Asia.
But one thing is to reach the box office because of all the hype and another thing is to remain at the top enough time.

Ah I was intending to waste 10 bucks and find out for myself how bad the movie was. But now I think I should make other plans …
if they do more dragonball movies heres who they should introduce for the new villains:
Dragonball 2 Vegeta and Frieza
Dragonball 3 Androids 17 and 18 and Cell
Dragonball 4 Broly
Dragonball 5 Majin Buu and Babidi
Dragonball 6 The Shadow Dragons
Well I hate ta rain on ya parade dawg but da next dragonball movie will b more of da story of dragonball. It won’t have anything ta do wit dragonball z so dat means no vegeta. I was hopin fo da same but 20th centry fox always f**ks up lol
every one on here and every where else , shut the f up ,u r retarded the movie was great , and yeah its not 100% like dragon ball but who cares its good for wat it was dumb people , do any of u kno wat the differnce is between db and dbz lol theres a big difference , lots more fighting lots more action and crazzy things that no one can even think of so shut the hell up, oh and there making 3 more movies all dbz oh yeah , starting with the sayin saga, the freeza the cell .
