Appliya Inc. has just released a coolsome application for iPhone/iPod based on the classic countdown timer that you see in Evangelion anime series. Apart from being a countdown time, it also functions as a normal clock.

When the countdown time reaches the final 10 seconds, the entire screen will switch to the red emergency countdown mode, exactly just like the anime itself.

When I first say the media release, I immediately headed to iTunes store and grabbed myself a copy of the application. Throughout the day, I kept finding opportunities to use the timer. LOL
