If you think that the police station is the safest crime free place, think again because a bag containing 1 million yen was snatched from a 62-year-old woman by two men about 50 meters from a local police station in Osaka.
According to police, one man suddenly snatched the bag while the woman was waiting on the sidewalk for the lights to change at around 10:40 p.m. The suspect got into a car which another man was driving.
The victim told police the two men were in their 30s and wore blue clothes.
