Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance [ヱヴァンゲリヲン新劇場版:破 ] is now officially set to premier in Japan on 27th June!
In 2.0, Eva fans will get to see Asuka making her debut. In addition, the movie will also include a totally new heroine.
In addition, there will be 3 Be@rbrick toys release based on Rei, Asuka and the mysterious heroine. They will be sold separately on March 14 or bundled with advance film ticket purchases.

Finally! Hopefully it won’t take 2 years for the US rights to be acquired like it was with 1.0.
It should be interesting to see if 2.0 is mostly a remake as 1.0 was, or if Anno-sama is really going to take EVA in a new direction. Of course, all we REALLY want is more Asuka-chan!
Hopefully Cathay will bring it in fast… ^^;
