Spotted this coolsome photo of Tōdai-ji (東大寺) on Mainich’s Japan from the air 2008 Photo Special.

For info: Todai-ji is located in Nara, Japan, and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its Great Buddha Hall (大仏殿 Daibutsuden), is the largest wooden building in the world, and houses the world’s largest statue of the Buddha.

I just love how the morning mist surrounds the temple making it look like some mysterious place where you can find legendary warriors or treasures.
