Lucky☆Star Live Concert @ Budokan Arena

Lucky-ch has been updated to announce that there will be a Lucky☆Star live concert in Nippon Budokan on 29 March, titled Lucky☆Star in Budōkan: Anata no tame dakara 「らき☆すた in 武道館 あなたのためだから」.

The concert features more of the seiyuu from the anime series:

  • Aya Hirano (Konata Izumi)
  • Emiri Katou (Kagami Hiiragi)
  • Kaori Fukuhara (Tsukasa Hiiragi)
  • Shizuka Hasegawa (Yutaka Kobayakawa)
  • Minori Chihara (Minami Iwasaki)
  • Kaoru Mizuhara (Misao Kusakabe)
  • Mai Aizawa (Ayano Minegishi)
  • Kaori Shimizu (Hiyori Tamura)
  • Nozomi Sasaki (Patricia Martin)
  • Konomi Maeda (Nanako Kuroi)
  • Saori Nishihara (Yui Narumi)
  • Hiromi Konno (Akira Kogami)
  • Minoru Shiraishi (Minoru Shiraishi)

Tickets are scheduled to be sold on 15March via special ticketing hotline. 1st level standing tickets are going for 7,140 yen, while level 2 tickets are going for 6,090 yen.

Just for info, many popular bands and artists have performed at Budokan. The list includes Beatles, Judas Priest, Queen, Avril Lavigne, Porno Graffitti, BUCK-TICK, L’Arc~en~Ciel, Every Little Thing, Asian Kung-Fu Generation, Hikaru Utada, Do As Infinity, X Japan, Yui …..

Well the list just goes on and on. To be able to perform at Budokan basically says that you’ve made it big in Japan.
