Alas, all the big hoo-hah about Haruhi Second Series Scheduled For April was just another false alarm.
J-Cast reports that they have contacted Kadokawa Shoten’s PR representative and their reply was:
4月からの放送は「再放送」だった It is just a rerun in April.
The representative said the group is absolutely not making an announcement now. The rebroadcast is basically on Teletama and other UHF stations.

Sigh, what a dissapointment. Maybe it was a conspiracy by Newtype to boost their sales for April. LOL
This was an early April`s fool joke by Haruhi!!!!
There are some theories that this is probably to refresh the series and who knows…after they broadcast this rerun, they could broadcast the second season!!…Just a theory!
Maybe they will secretly broadcast the second series immediately after the reruns …. then many folks would have missed the first episode and then have to buy the DVDs!
