The second series of Haruhi Suzumiya is scheduled for release in April and this piece of news will be reported in the upcoming March issue of Newtype.
In a TV ad for the upcoming latest issue of Newtype, fans were treated to the cover of the magazine which the 2ch folks then scrutinized and found the following line:
4月からTVアニメ放送開始
Folks who grab a copy of Newtype will be able to read about the casting details and an interview with Yasuhiro Takemoto.

Wow this is just a great piece of awesome news! Can’t wait for April to arrive. I must surely get March issue of Newtype which comes out on 10 February.
Awesome news if it’s true, sounds pretty definite but there’s been so many false alarms on the second season I don’t think I can let myself believe it until it’s actually airing…
