Oricon polled 1000 teenagers and asked them “which are the promising young actresses to look out for in 2009.
At the top of the list was Nao Minamisawa, who stars as Takemiya Mei in Akai Ito, a Japanese dorama that is an adaptation of the best-selling novels of 2007. So here are the top 10 young talents to look out for in 2009.

I’m not very familar with most of them. Amongst the list, I’ve only seen works by Kie Kitano. But I must add that Shiori Kutsuna was really cute in her recent Pocky commercial.
