Nodame Cantabile manga has been put on hold again because the mangaka, Tomoko Ninomiya, has developed carpal tunnel syndrome.
The manga series was previously put on hold in October when she took a Pregenacy Break.
After her baby was born on October 24, she reported in a November 3 blog entry that she could not raise her right arm because she unknown pain in her shoulder and arm.
The symptoms gradually spread to both arms to the point that there was swelling and eventually pain, especially in the morning when she woke up. She went to a doctor who confirmed the diagnosis.
Looks like we are gonna have to wait a while before we see any new material published for Nodame Cantabile.

I wonder whether she’ll incorporate her experience in Nodame. Piano players also share the increased risk as a result of their work.
I didn’t know pregnancy is a risk factor for CTS. The only thing I knew about CTS was that I shouldn’t spend long hours playing games on my PC.
