Even though Square Enix recently launched the official site for Final Fantasy XIII, English speaking fans will be disappointed to know that the game will only be ported into English by April 2010.
This news came straight from Square Enix President Yoichi Wada’s interview with Reuters.
He mentioned that Final Fantasy XIII will be launched in Japan in 2009 but overseas launches will only come in the business year from April 2010 or later.
Sigh … now what am I’m gonna play for 2009? T-T

Since finishing XII I have been waiting anxiously for XIII to be released. I downloaded the trailer for XIII from gametrailers… I’ve been watching it every few weeks, singing to the music, salivating at the graphics… desperately waiting for XIII to be released. I’ve been reading wiki to see if there have been any developments re: it’s release date… I got it in to my head that by March 2009 I would be playing FF XIII… and now, to my utter dismay, I find that I am going to have to wait another YEAR!!! :’( I am so disappointed!!!
I’ll have to stick with my new acquired “Enchanted Arms” it would seem… a poor substitute! :/
