Sony Unveils Vaio P Netbook
Ever since I’ve heard rumors about it, I’ve been excited. Today Sony finally unveiled the beautiful Sony Vaio P Netbook at CES 2009.

Gizmodo reports its sleek dimension: weighing under 1.4 pounds, sitting under an inch thick, and packing in an 8-inch screen with a 2.08:1 aspect ratio (1600×768!).

The Sony Vaio P will be offered in 5 colors (red, green, black, white and onyx) and the expected price for the consumer model is 100,000 yen.

I wonder if it will be launch in Singapore as well. 欲しい !!

A very compact and nice portable netbook. I’m ambivalent about the price, because I’ve yet to hear any competing models as compact as the Vaio P. Now, if only the specs aren’t made of inferior meterial.
Hey dude, it was launched today. I was at the launch event. It looks great, but for a screen that is only 8-inch, it’s native resolution of 1600 x 768 is a killer. The words are so small, you can hardly see them. The keyboard was that great either.
Also, it’s rather expensive. Prices start from $1,299 iirc.
Sorry to burst your bubble.
