Here’s an interesting internet survey results: Men in Japan want to live to the age of 79 on average, while women hope to live to 78.

The poll, conducted by the Mainichi Shimbun with cooperation from NTT Resonant Inc., asked respondents how long they wanted to live, informing them that the average life expectancy in Japan was 79.19 years for men and 85.99 years for women.
The results indicate that overall, men want to live about the same time as the average life expectancy — but that women don’t want to live as long as their expected life span.
About 30 percent of both men and women wanted to live between the ages of 80 and 84, the biggest group when the answers were divided in five-year intervals. Ten percent of men and 7 percent of women wanted to live until at least 100.
Respondents were also asked what age they wanted to continue working until. The top answer, accounting for 27 percent of respondents, was “I want to work no matter how old I am.” Following at 26 percent was up to 65, and another 21 percent said they wanted to retire earlier than 60, which many companies set as the retirement age.
The survey was conducted between Dec. 5 and 6 on people aged 20 or over and selected randomly from the goo Research online monitor panel. Responses were obtained from 1,065 people.

So how long do you want to live until? I think I want to live on forever and ever =P

This question..is hard to answer..
As long as I’m happy, I want to live as long as I can.
I just want to live for as long as I am satisfied with life. No point trying to live longer for the sake of living longer.
Living forever and ever would get boring and eventually you would just glide through life in a sort of depressed trance, also it would suck if you were the only one to survive a nuclear holocaust.
Me personally: i’ll die whenever and wherever, don’t particularly care. As long as its not painful/embarassing (problem is there are alot of both catagories out there lol)
