My Moe Ringtones

After getting a new Mobile Phone, my next task was to decide on a suitable set of ringtones for my mobile phone. And since its Christmas, I thought it would be nice in the spirit of giving to share it with my readers.

First off is the ringtone for the incoming call. I decided on Vanilla Salt, which is the opening theme for Toradora!. I chose it because it has the word “Vanilla” in it and my favorite ice-cream flavor is Vanilla.

Moving onto incoming text messages, I decided to carry on using the ringtone from Hayate No Gotoku Character CD 3 Nagi Sanzenin.

Its very cute, everytime there is an incomgin text message, it goes:

ユー・ガッタ・メール!うむ、メールが届いたようだ

> You Got Mail! Umu, A mail has arrived.

Moving on is the alarm ringtone. Instead of using a proper alarm clock, I rely on my mobile phone’s alarm. So similarly I chose a track from the Nagi Character CD.

おい、朝だぞ!早く起きろ。

> Oi, Asa da zo! Hayaku Okiro. [Oi, its morning already! Hurry up and wake up.]

Another alarm ringtone which I had been using for quite some time is from the Mousou Voice CD Vol.2 [Oshikari CD].

It is voiced by Ito Shizuka (better know for her voice roles as Tamaki Kousaka from ToHeart2, Hinnagiku from Hayate no Gotoku, and Lenalee Lee from D.Gray-man). Anyway this CD is more interesting because it has the track scolding you in many different ways.

こらっ。いつまで寝てんの。早く起きないと踏みつけちゃうぞ!

> Hey! How long are you gonna sleep? If you don’t wake up, I’m gonna kick you!

So these are the ringtones that I wanted to share with you folks. If you have more of these interesting sound packs, do share them with us. O(≧∇≦)O

    Plenty of awesome Kugimiya Rie.

I just wish I had a good phone to use them on. The mail one can be used for my email though, so thanks are in order.

Well, I’m utterly content with Noto Mamiko’s “aa, meru da” voice for my text message voice XD
