Gonzo “Retires” 25% of Workers
Following the news that GONZO was halving their production, their parent company GDH has further announced yesterday that they will be asking 25% of their employees to “retire” early.

This move was to enable the company to move back onto the profitability track.
Employees that opt to retire early will receive a one-time bonus equivalent to one-month’s salary.
To that end, it plans to reduce its representative director’s compensation by half, its board of directors’ head count by two (or 30%), and its executive and managerial staff’s head count by eight (or 10 to 20%).

Looks like things are really no turning out well for Gonzo. But its sad that GDH has taken the step of cutting manpower in times of financial crisis.
