Oricon released another interesting poll whereby the Japanese Bath Product Industry conducted a survey with 1000 people on their bathing habits and found that 40 percent of Japanese spend less than 20 minutes in the bath.
The survey was conducted online between 7th Nov to 11th Nov and included folks from all different sectors ranging from middle and high school kids, university students, and folks in their 20s, 30s and 40s.

The survey also asked what did people do in the bath:
Most people sung a song (1st) during bathing time, followed by stretching (2nd) and massaging (3rd) their body. Some also took the time out to read a book (4th) and listened to music (5th). What I couldn’t understand is eating food (10th). LOL

So how long do you folks spend in the bath? I think I belong to the 1st category of 15-20 minutes.

As for me, it varies..
When I’m in a rush, I will take a shorter time bathing.
Normally, I’ll spend around 10 – 15 minutes or so.
on average id say im a 20min guy, its easy to go over that if its a nice warm bath on a cold day….or any day for that matter …….. but i have had 10 min baths which are like………whoa!
come to think of it, i use the “facilities” if u catch my drift =P so i spend about 30 to 40 mins in the bathroomfrom the time i enter til i get out to dry, OH i dry in the bathroom….. do these count?! it comes to an hour affair now!
