Schoolgirl Forced Into Prostitution to Pay Phone Bill
What usually happens if you chalk up a hefty phone bill? Parents will either give you a good nagging or your allowances may be deducted. But the parents of this poor 16 year old high schoolgirl forced their daughter into prostitution to pay off her own large phone bill.
So police are now prosecuting her mother (36) and her stepfather (47) for violating child welfare and anti-prostitution laws.
Her mother was the one that “encourage” the schoolgirl’s action:
「電話代が高い。あんたがやったことなのに、体売ってでも（金を）作ってこい」
Your phone bill is so expensive. You should settle it yourself by selling your body.
Therefore, in the end, she ended up sleeping with an unknown man just a mere 12,000 yen, which she later used to pay her stepfather.

Wow… are those parents crazy or something? Who knows what the stranger might have had… and hell, if the stepfather and mother actually got the kid to do prostitution, what other kind of maniacal things did the STEPFATHER do the the kid?

To be honest when i was reading it, it sounded like it was one of those things parents say in a moment of sarcastic wit
