After thinking about it long and hard, I finally decided to reward myself with a new DSLR. I decided on the Canon 40D because it’d just feels much more comfortable in my hands than compared to the 450D.
As for the lenses, I bought the EF 17-40mm f4.0L and the EF-S 60mm. I think these two would last me for quite a long time before I start to acquire new lenses.
Now I gotta sell off my Canon S5 IS. It was a really good camera and I learnt quite alot from using it.

that’s the one that’s been advertised on quite often recently right? i’ll probably switch to a DSLR when i find myself a job and enough cash.
but the 40d costs $500 more than the 450!! gah!!
