Guide Books To Akiba
Spotted this post on AkibaToday about this English guide book”The Best Shops Of Akihabara“. It was put together by a dedicated group of japanese otakus who speak English and wanted to help foreigners enjoy their trip to the holy land.

Aother Japanese guide book was Akiba Days 120% (featured on the right) was released by Jive way back on 18 July.Of course this book is cool because the chacters of School Days tells the reader where are the best place to “eat”, “relax”, “play” and “buy” etc.

Its really interesting to see that Akihabara has become such a tourist hotspot that there are guide books just create for this specific section of Tokyo.
Maybe the otaku PM Taro Aso would comission Japan’s tourist board to come out with an official guide book to Akihabara as well. LOL

As a nice bonus, the book even points out which retailers are capable of helping customers in English — a major plus for non-Japanese speaking tourists. It goes for US$10 and is in PDF format. So yeah. Akiba Guide [Official Site via alafista] [...]
