Here’s a quick review of the Bandai Puchimoe Featuring Rie Kugimiya which I’ve purchased. Actually everything can be summaries into 2 words - Insanely Fun!

Here’s a closer look at the red tsundere puchimoe. Its nice that Bandai added a chain to it so that I can attach it onto my bag. I’ve been bringing it to school and irritating my friends with it.

The “bubble” of the Puchimoe feels very hard when I initially first played with it. But after playing it for a week, it has become rather seasoned and feels very similar to a real bubble wrap.

I’ve bought 2 different versions of the 4 available: the Imouto (Sister) and Tsundere version. I think the Tsundere version is definitely cooler, which is probably the reason why it was sold out on the day of release.

The tsundere version has 4 phrases which activates once every 50 presses on the puchimoe:

• 「触んないでよ！」- Dont touch me
• 「大ッ嫌い！」 - I hate you
• 「ヘンタイ！」 - Hentai!
• 「あ、ありがとう… 」 - Thanks

Interestingly, Bandai has even setup blogs for each of the 4 different characters: Tsundere, Childhood Friend, Little Sister and Meido.

I even heard rumors that an anime is currently in production, though I not sure how reliable this rumor is.

One thing for sure is that Bandai are making losta money on this fun product.
