Oricon: Japanese Favorite Video Game Character

Submitted by Alafista on Tuesday, 12 August 20086 Comments

Yesterday Oricon released another one of their survey polls on gaming characters. 1000 men and women were asked which was their favorite video character, and Nintendo’s mascot Mario came in tops.

Here are the rest of the results:

01: Mario [Super Mario]

02: Cloud [FF VII]

03: Yoshi [Super Mario]

04: Pikachu [Pokemon]

04: Solid Snake [Metal Gear Solid]

04: Slime [Dragon Quest]

07: Chocobo [Final Fantasy]

08: Doraemon

08: Toad [Mario Kart]

10: Professor Layton [Professor Layton]

10: Yuna [FF X]

10: Squall [FF XIII]

So which is your favorite video game character of all time. I think mine would be Solid Snake, since I’m currently playing MGS4 on my PS3.
