News has been announced In the latest issue of Comic Alive, that the psychological visual novel CHAOS;HEAD has been adapted into an anime series and is scheduled to be broadcasted in October.
For those unfamiliar, Chaos;Head (カオスヘッド) is a Japanese visual novel developed by 5pb. and Nitroplus.
It was released a few months back on the April 25, 2008.
Apart from the violence, gore and sex that is found within the game, its popularity is also linked to this feature called “Delusion Science” whereby the player can access alternate scenes when triggered.
Here’s the basic outline of the storyline, a high school student named Takumi Nishijō unknowingly walks into the scene of a gruesome murder on his way home.
More mysterious events starts happening afterwards as more gruesome murders occurs in the area.
Takumi struggles to cope with reality and the delusions he experiences as he tries to avoid being getting caught by the perpetrator behind the chain of murders.

Somehow, I get abit uneasy knowing that this visual novel get adapted due to the unfortunate Nice Boat incident during the airing of School Days. Hopefully, nothing bad will happen when this anime gets aired on TV.
But then I must say that this game is really good, and I would recommend it to any folks that can stomach gory scenes.
I say, this is better off than most of the standard fare visual novel. I love gore, I love girls soaked in blood, what more can I say?
