Cowboy Bebop Live-Action Movie Adaptation
Word is in from ANN that a live-action movie adapatation of Cowboy Bebop is being produced by Fox.
The adaptation is currently handled by film producer Erwin Stoff (The Matrix, A Scanner Darkly) and he promises “a real degree of faithfulness”.

I just don’t understand why Japanese animation companies are allowing Hollywood to destroy all our favorite classics by allowing them to produce movie adaptations.
What those companies should be doing instead is to follow what Gainax is doing and produce epic remastered releases like the latest Evangelion movies.

I am really scared of the DBZ movie….Cowboy Bebop might work, but only if they are faithful to the story and characters. At least the EVANGELION LIVE ACTION movie is sleeping somewhere while the EPIC remastered anime movies are working right.
Cant be done, who the hell in all of hollywood could play any of them, they would just end up looking stupid compared… i bet they wouldn’t even be able to get the right breed of dog hehehe
I havent seen much Cowboy Bebop but what i have seen i love and its clearly in need of a petition to get it away from america and back into the animating studios for an, as you say “epic remastered release” if anything.
