Today we take a look at an otaku expo that is held outside Japan. China Joy took place in Shanghai last weekend on the 17th July and it seemed like losta chinese otaku turned up at the event.
The meidos at the event were pretty cute ^_^

You can even get yourself a replica sword of your favorite character.
And lastly, some anime T-shirts to announce your inner otaku by wearing it. Though I’m suspicious they are Cospa T-shirts or some pirated ones.

I love to see otaku expos all over the world. Soon one day, these events will be as grand as the Olympics.

I’m going home to Shanghai this winter and I can’t wait to hit up all those otaku areas in the city (especially with that ad for Halozone touting that it’s ‘the Akihabara of Shanghai’). Can’t wait to see the mess of EPIC FAIL and cheap Chinese goods all around.
