Kobayashi Fails To Regain Hotdog Eating Chamipon Title
The 92nd annual Nathan’s Hot Dog Contest was being called “Rematch II” where competitive eater Tsunami” Kobayashi attempts to regain his championship title from the 2007 Champion Joey Chestnut who previously won by downing 66 hot dogs in just 12 minutes.

This year competition was truly epic when the 2 were tied at 59 hot dogs each after 10 minutes.
In the end, there was a 5 hot dogs tie-breaker and the champion would go to the one that can down them the fastest. You can see for yourself the action below:
Alas, Kobayashi was unable to match Joey’s speed, so the 2008 Nathan’s hot dog eating champion goes to Joey Chestnut!

Darn, I was rooting for Kobayashi. Well better luck next year I guess.
But there’s one thing I want to say: Send those hot dogs to Africa and feed the starving!
