I agree with Coco the Bean. It’s perfectly understandable to remove full-length episodes, but removing MADs..? Seems like a silly move to me. :\

The anime industry isn’t going to be able to sell much of their product if they’re hostile to their customer base.
There’s a difference between posting video content on a service site like NND or YouTube, versus Torrenting. Besides, if they’re after MADs (and AMVs here in the States) that’s remarkably foolish, those videos are basically free marketing for the industry.
It’s true, though, that abuse of torrenting has led to this…

They’ve been slowly removing anime already, now they’re just removing the MADs.
Nico without anime AND MADs is like a peanut butter & jelly sandwich without peanut butter or the jelly.
O well it was bound to happen sooner or later.
I have a feeling Veoh is next on their target list.

They’ve removed more than anime related videos too, like those hilarious tokusatsu MADs.

So depressing.
