1/8 Yoko Ritona PVC [Space Version]

Today preorders opened for this rather cool “space version” figure of Yoko Ritona from Gurren Lagann.

She is scheduled to be released in September, and will be retailing for 5,880 yen.

I kinda like the pose but I’m not a big fan of figures produced by Wave.

I can see why you wouldn’t be a fan of figures made by this company. Something just seems “wrong.” Maybe it’s the shading or maybe there isn’t enough detail or something…

i got a nono from gunbuster 2 (related by gainax to this……i guess) and OH ITS BRILLIANT! i love nono shes awesome, but i too see why ur not a fan of this companies stuff, although this pvc still looks ok

There seems to be verily little shading in the face and hair giving it that flat plasticity look. Definitely a pass.
