Today 2ch is bustling with early scans of July issue of Newtype on the “new animation” of Haruhi.
Here’s the scans and it seems like the production team has decided on making a new series of Haruhi all over again instead of making a sequel season.
Since things are a little fuzzy at the moment, I think I’d just wait till 10 July and grab a copy of Newtype July and read everything for myself.

I wouldn’t say it’s a new series; it’s from Disappearance, where (spoilers) Haruhi never made that crop circle with Kyon, so she never came to North High and everyone is totally different, which would explain why Haruhi is wearing a different uniform and Nagato looks less stoic.
Looks like my next year’s cosplay plans are set in stone. Oh lawd, more Haruhi.
I dont care what they do with this series i love the old series so much whatever they do can only be equally as amazing because we get to see more Haruhi^^
