The details for the Lucky☆Star OVA has now been released. It is scheduled to go on sale on the 29 August and the DVD will be retailing for 6,090 yen.
In addition, the OVA will be 30 minutes long.

Its really expensive to pay 6000 yen for a DVD that has only 30 min running time. I wonder what interesting revelations will the OVA have to make me fork out my money willingly.

In addition to being outrageously expensive, it’s also a huge waste of DVD space. The fans will bend over and pay for it when all is said and done though.
All DVDs and CDs are expensive in Japan. No idea why. And yet all their awesome magazines (anything printed on paper) is quite cheap for their value.
