Alafista.com First Anniversary
Today is the 1st anniversary of Alafista.com.Its amazing that one year has already passed, and now its time to celebrate! ( ^ _ ^)∠☆PAN！
Previously, I started out my blogging adventures on Animeblogger.net but I eventually decided to venture out and get my own personal brand by registering a domain.
By the time I registered Alafista.com, I’ve already decided on its layout, which is mainly otaku news update from all over the internet while adding a little spice from time to time with funny news from Japan, hot gravure idols and JPOP review.
As I’ve mentioned before in the past, my inspiration for blogging actually comes from DannyChoo. A few years back, I stumbled onto his site and I was amazed with the stuff he posted. Back then I was still a noob and didn’t even know what is wordpress.
Interestingly, I think my site has also evolved over time to become very similar to that of Danny’s. But at the same time, I’ve still managed to provide different content from his site.
Of course, when I registered Alafista.com, I also set some goals for myself and the site.
I wanted to acheive a daily readership of 2,500 and an alexa ranking of 100,000. When It came down to the examining the figures, I’m quite happy to say that I’m close to the targets.
The latest alexa ranking for Alafista.com is 108,307 and my average daily visitors for last month was also 2,100.
Therefore, I would like to thank everyone: my fun-loving otaku readers, my fellow anime bloggers, my figure buddies at Figurakuen and even the folks that just stumble upon my site looking for photos of beautiful gravure idols.
Hopefully Alafista.com will have many more anniversary to come by.
In the meantime, I would like ask each of you to comment and tell me why you like this site and what would you want to see and read about more in the future.

I hope I wrote it right. Well, the first time I saw this blog, I saw it was different from the rest. The good stuff is that it is not only anime, but there are tidbits of japanese and anime culture and facts from daily life. I think thats one of the main reasons why I come here.
I think I will like to read more reviews about figures like HD or probably reviews about the diffrerent anime series, at least, first impressions. I am not sure since I only read the japanese news facts and anime / Akihabara news. I need to explore the rest of the site.

I enjoy your blog because you present news and tidbits relevant to my internets but at the same time keeps the posts from getting too long or too in-depth, making it a nice, quick read that it easy to enjoy.

You certainly have done well over the past year. I remember when you were on AB.net and how much your site has changed since moving to Alafista. Funny enough I’m still listing your old site, time to update, lol. Still, congrats on the one year anniversary!

one thing i will like to suggest is that for pics of gravure idols, is there a easier hassles-less way to download all the pics? cos currently u provide a single download on rapidshare but it always tell me my slots are ful bah bah bah. then i have to manually click on each picture one by one and then i have to click one more time on every pic to enlarge it. so i have to click 2 times for one pic that’s too much work. >.<
