Here’s another interesting poll conducted that Oricon that is anime-related. They asked 900 men and women “Who is the ideal anime buddy who will always comes to the rescue when they’re in a pinch”.

Oricon Poll: Anime Buddy Who Always Comes To The Rescue

The trust robotic cat Doraemon tops the list as he always provides solution from his wonderful pocket.

Here’s the list of Top 5:

01: Doraemon (Doraemon)

02: Monkey D. Luffy (One Piece)

03: Sun Goku (Dragonball)

03: Arale (Dr. Slump)

05: Haruhi (The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya)

05: Tony Chopper (One Piece)

Looks like a pretty good list to me. If I’m facing daily simple problems, I’d probably go with Doraemon as well, but if I’m fighting a duel to the death, Luffy and Goku are definitely the ones I’d choose to back me up.
