Newsweek Japan released a list of 100 best films in their Golden Week issue (April 30/May 07) and Satoshi Kon’s Paprika was the only anime that made it onto the list.

Other Japanese films that made it on the list were Letter from Iwo Jima and Tampopo.

I didn’t quite understood Paprika after watching it, the plot was too confusing for me.

As for Tampopo, I did watch it for my Japanese Studies module and it was hilarious.
