McDonald’s Japan Price Hikes
Folks in Japan will find their Big Mac costing 30 yen more starting 30th May. This is due to McDonalds JP raising the prices of some menu items on due to surging materials and other costs.

Procurement costs for wheat, dairy ingredients and cooking oil are soaring, while personnel expenses are on the increase.

What the heck is personal expenses? LOL
But I always thought people can easily get discount coupons using their handphones in Japan, so does the price hike really matters?

Personnel, not personal. It means labor costs are rising.
@ anoy: LOL my eyes must be deceiving me.
Well, even with discount coupons, the extra charge made will still rake in a little more money.
@Alafista, actually, I didn’t notice the difference (between personnel and personal) either! xD My thanks to anoy ><
Wow, that’s an awesome looking store.
