Kadokawa Group announced their annual fiscal report and one of their top performers was the Lucky☆Star manga which sold 1.8 million copies.

I’ve never read the manga before, but it must be really good to have sold 1.8 million copies.

The manga is styled like Azumanga if you’ve ever read that it’s like strip comics
I personally didn’t find it that funny but oh well I guess it’s just me

  2. I honestly can’t say I feel all that sorry for them. After several years of rather shady and underhanded advertising (and I might add invasive) on top of all but rigging the Seiyuu awards, Kadokawa has earned a really poor reputation with me. Hopefully this encourages them to knock it off a little and to try and repair some of the damage they’ve caused with fans.

The joy of Lucky Star for me was how it was so extremely slice of life. Relating to it wasn’t at all hard..
