Here’s another funny story about the effectiveness of Japanese policemen. It took 10 policemen and 5 police cars just to arrest 3 feisty high school girls who were arrested for attacking a poor policemen.

The incident started then 2 schoolgirls were told off by the police officer for riding together on the same bicycle.

Here’s the details of what happened:

One of the girls then shoved the officer and said, “The cops can’t do anything.” Her friend then kicked him in the leg.

A second officer was preparing to take the juveniles to a police station when another pair of girls, also riding double, rode up. One of the new arrivals cursed the policeman and spit in his face. The alleged assailant was also arrested.

In the end the 2 police officers couldn’t deal with the 3 high school girls and had to call in reinforcement because one of the girls was calling her buddies down as well. LOL

That is why the entire ordeal took 10 male officers and five police cars just to arrest 3 high school girls. LOL

Shinsaku Noju, head of the NPO Support Center for Overcoming Juvenile Delinquency, says the schoolgirls’ attack on the cops was probably a call for help.

“Lots of kids who fall into delinquency are actually sending a message to parents and teachers that they need a bit more attention …..

But if parents or teachers ignore the kids and let them do whatever they want, the rebelliousness just escalates as the kids turn to increasingly noticeable behavior in an attempt to get someone to pay some attention to them.”

All I can say is Japanese high school girls are really feisty. In fact, I kinda feel sorry for the poor police officer. LOL

At least they didn’t send out 15 police cars like this previous incident on the expressway.
