I’m sure many of you must be wondering why the KFC in Akihabara dressed up their poor mascot Colonel Sanders as a meido.

Well AkibaBlog made a phone call to them and checked it out for us. The reason was actually simple:

There were little customers coming to the KFC in Akiba, so they decided that since all the other eating outlets and cafes were using meido as a calling card, why can’t Colonel Sanders be dressed up like that as well.

    @ meganeshounen: Haha I think they would have attracted more customers if they were giving out some moe toy with each meal purchased.

    I wonder if business improved after they dressed him up as meido sanders ^^;
    Too bad meido sanders is gone now though..
