I’m sure many of you must be wondering why the KFC in Akihabara dressed up their poor mascot Colonel Sanders as a meido.
Well AkibaBlog made a phone call to them and checked it out for us. The reason was actually simple:
There were little customers coming to the KFC in Akiba, so they decided that since all the other eating outlets and cafes were using meido as a calling card, why can’t Colonel Sanders be dressed up like that as well.
Here’s a look at the outlet before Sanders was “cosplaying” as a meido. LOL
Well… that’s “thinking outside the box”, Akiba-style for you. ^_^
poor guy… he must be spinning in his grave. That’s awesome publicity though.

I wonder if business improved after they dressed him up as meido sanders ^^;
Too bad meido sanders is gone now though..
