OMG!!! honey and clover..... That manga really made me into a effeminate jerk by crying at the most dramatic endings... lol..

Ah... the poster is reminiscent of the alibasta arc. yeah one piece is really a touching manga. it's combined with both action, comedy and ,the least expected, drama. perfect for 1.

@ Dee: Is there such a manga? And you are a tough customer to satisfy. LOL

@ Setsukyie: I would definitely recommend both One Piece and Slam Dunk, they are classics.

@ FF: Yeah Aria wouldn't really be considered touching but its definitely makes you feel good.

@ Hei: Yeah another One Piece fan like me. I also have shed so many manly tears from reading and watching One Piece. I'd be happy to die for comrades like that.

Honey & Clover hit home for me but I see why One Piece is number 1 it deserves it. One Piece has many memorable moments in which I shed manly tears. One Piece takes the meaning of friendship to a completely different level they're willing to risk their own lives to safe others as seen done with Zoro recently.
I also agree with FF on Aria. The last episode of Origination was probably my favorite episode of anime all time tears were coming out throughout the whole episode. As for the manga i heard it's exactly the same as the anime so I'm going to buy it when they finish releasing it in the USA.

Agree with Slam Dunk, and probably Touch as well.

Over its series run Houshin Engi had a LOT of touching moments, which I certainly did not expect after reading the first 3 volumes. I was certainly glad I persisted with it during its so-so start.

Aria deserves a mention, surely, although touching might not always be the exact word you would use to describe the feelings it exude. Something more akin to emotional contentness, perhaps.

The last one I'll put in a list of 5, in no specific order, is Chan Mou's "Unhuman," which is not something I expect a lot of other people to know about. It's an excellent read, not for the story about Guan Yu, but the story about Wei Yan and the various tragedies that unfolded.
