Student Hit on Head In Hammer Throw Accident
Here’s an example why playings sports is very dangerous. A unlucky 16 year old high school student was hit on the head by a 6-kg hammer at school during sports practice. As a result, he is now lying in a hospital in a coma.

The incident happened in Adachi Higashi high school in Tokyo whereby the hammer was thrown by a 17-year-old student practicing for a track and field meet.
The hammer flew 40 meters and hit the 16-year-old when he was picking up his own hammer.
A teacher who coaches the students told police he had always them to shout out a warning to each other before they throw the hammer.

The poor fella is really unlucky. The field is so huge and it still landed on his head.
The only thankful thing was that it wasn’t a javelin, else he would be skewered instead of being hammered.
