In one of the latest Oricon fashion survey, 900 people were asked: Which Japanese male celebrity looked best in sneakers?

Popular idol Kimura Takyra managed to come out on top of the poll.

And here is the list of the male celebrities whom Japanese thought looked good in sneakers:

I guess its probably because he looked good in jeans and people usually wear sneakers with jeans.

For those that don’t know, Kimura Takuya and Tsuyoshi Kusanagi (both from SMAP) are both inducted into the Best Jeanist Hall of Fame.

The annual award is basically given celebrities whom a public and private committee both select which celebrities looked the best in jeans. And you have to win the award 5 times to be in the hall of fame,
