Hayao Miyazaki’s “Gake no Ue no Ponyo” Scheduled In July

According to the latest announcement on the Gake no Ue no Ponyo official blog, the film has been scheduled to be released in theaters on July 19th.

For those that are unaware, Gake no Ue no Ponyo (崖の上のポニョ) is the latest work to be written and directed by Miyazaki. It will also be his eighth film with Studio Ghibli.

The story basically revolves around this goldfish princess (Ponyo) who wants to become a human, and also her friendship with a little human boy.

    awesomo, look forward to it, still gotta get tales from earth sea, uno ghibli isnt like the disney of japan, cos ghibli films are GOOD (i know why they say its the disney of japan ok? =], i just have o slate disney to make me feel better
