1/8 Houmei PVC [Shining Wind]
Finally this PVC figure of Houmei from Shining Wind is up for preorder. She is produced by President Japan.

She is scheduled to be released in late July and will be retailing for 8,190 yen.
A tad bit expensive but I think its worth it considering the details on her dress.

I was loving her until I saw her facial sculpt closeup. There might be issues with integrating her doll eyes. I had President Japan’s Elwing which was beautiful but their Neige was terrible. Hoping houmei escapes that fate.
President Japan has done some pretty good detailed sculpts for the Shining series, but so far, they always seem to screw up on the face. It never looks like the Tony illustration counterparts. One thing I do love about the President Japan shining figures are the eyes. They use a separate piece of transparent ABS, similar to how you would make Gundam eyes. It gives A LOT of depth to the characters.
Looks like I may end up passing on this one, as I am short of space and money. Ryuna from President Japan already takes up a huge amount of space!

Lovely figure! As above stated, the eyes are giving the figure a whole new level. Not sure if this is a must buy, but it sure is beautiful.
@Timotei : Yep, the eyes are special, not normal painted. I have Mao and Ryuna, and i liked em. Might get Kureha and Houmei from Eyescream
Agreed. The eyes are a bit of a throw off. Everything else is simply elegant though.
