Pullip Haruhi Dolls

SenakaBlog brings us some shots of the Haruhi Pullip doll that is on display at the Kotobukiya Shop at Nihonbashi.

Pullip Haruhi Dolls

Personally I not fond of these fashion dolls at all. Especially Pullip dolls since they have such freaky big heads. Anyway Pullip dolls are manufactured in Korea and are marketed by Jun Planning in Japan.

Feels kinda creepy to me if you ask me to place such a doll in my room.

Would you buy a Pullip doll? Or do you actually own one?

  1. Not to my taste. You’re right man, they do look wee bit creepy ^^.

@ lanie-emon: i think they more than just a weebit.

@ bashcraft: Haha what a coincidence. But this was in my draft postings for 2 days already. So technically I’m still ahead. =P

these things ARE the essence of evil. have u seen the rei and asuka ones?! i cried a wee bit when i first saw them……god they freak me out,

  5. Alafista says:

@ Dee: Yeah I’ve seen the Rei & Asuka ones, they look evil! LOL But I did like the suiseseki and souseiseki ones.

  6. Livvylove says:

They are a little creepy but no where near as creepy as Blythes dolls IMO. I do think the Pinky:St Haruhi dolls are adorable and don’t mine the Pullips as much. They are the least creepy of the ball jointed dolls IMO

  7. DS says:

Scary… it’ll come to life and get you!

  8. Alafista says:

@ Livvylove: Oh I think I remember those, they can change or move their eyes right?

    @ DS: haha like Chucky?

  9. Livvylove says:

I think you can customize Pullips but don’t quote me on that. Blythe dolls look evil IMO they are truly scary

  10. Alafista says:

@ Livvylove: Yeah Pullip dolls can be customised. According to the report by SenakaBlog, these dolls are supposedly customized from the original suiseseki and souseseki ones.

    Ok i’ve never read these post before I was just searching for some info on the Haruhi and Mikuru pullips on display. >_<;;
Well honestly I DO own a pullip and honestly there are very cute to me. I think the big heads are a bit of an exaggeration to anime and manga styled heads but I found this feature cute on the dolls. I have the Suiseiseki pullip and shes watching me type at this very moment.
Im used to hearing people talk about how creepy the dolls are. My sister is pretty upset about me getting one and says it’s going to kill her in her sleep. Im a little upset you people don’t like them but I don’t blame you. Not everyone is into dolls. But hey, at least there not porcelain!
So I guess im sorta the freak here.
    Whatevs. :p
