Japanese Police: Come Claim Your Murder Weapon

The local prosecutors in Yamaguchi prefecture tried to play smart and placed a poster outside their office asking for the owner of gun involved in a murder case to come forward and claim his/her weapon.

Obviously the prosecuters shot themselves in the foot because no one came forward yet. LOL

The announcement read:

“Come forward to claim the gun whose ownership is unknown.”

The handgun will be disposed of if no one claims it after six months.

I can’t believe the local prosecuters are so dumb as do try something like that. ε-(´・`) フー

But then considering Japanese are very honest people (e.g the garbage collector who returned the 10 million yen), maybe the murderer might really come back to claim his/her gun. LOL

    well u’d be surprised, some people are stupid enough to fall for things like that. ever seen the moomins when the pirate s fooled into drinking the sleeping potion? (well done snufkin, ur my hero ^^) i rest my case, pirates are easy to fool….wait……i lost track again, dammit!
