Cherry Trees Uprooted From Park Grounds

While most Japanese folks are enjoying their Cherry Blossom viewing, some unkind folks went about damaging the cherry trees in the park.

In a park in Fukuoka prefecture, 3 cherry trees were found to have been pull from the ground. The branches of some other 23 trees were also broken off.

I wonder how they managed to uproot a tree. Would you have to be incredibly strong to do so?

Nonetheless I hate people who vandalize, why can’t they just leave beautiful things alone.

I hate people who vandalize public property it’s so immature. A few days ago I went to visit one of my elementary school teacher and on the walls of the school there was graffiti everywhere about well something grade schoolers shouldn’t know about.

  2. Kresnik says:

Wouldn’t you need a bulldozer to do the trick? Is it really vandalization, not some environment-unfriendly program?

  3. Dee says:

no, its vandalism plain and simple.LEAVE THE TREES! as an artist, a cheap artist im a hindrance to trees…..sorry trees!

  4. Mizunaga says:

I’ll say no to vandalism, but WOW to uprooting trees! I wonder what technique they used.. Or perhaps some Flame Haze forgot to restore the trees..?

  5. Aikyrie says:

They must have some personal vendetta against sakura because I can’t think of any reason why they would want to vandalize a tree!

  6. Panther says:

Maybe Byakuya had something to do with it. Bishounen hatred.

With simple tools (there is no need for a bulldozer) you can uproot a tree provided you have enough people and the tree is not overly heavy. They just have to apply basic physics.

@ Hei :I think that was how I was exposed to those unkind words when I was young too.

@ Kresnik: Yeah, I was thinking wouldn’t heavy machinery be involved in uprooting trees?

    @ Dee: Save the trees!

@ Mizunaga: Haha that is a good guess.

@ Aikyrie: Maybe they were trying to demostrate how strong they are.

@ Panther: Physics boggle my mind. I prefer to believe in magical powers or heavy machinery. =P
