April Fools in Japan/Otaku Blogosphere (Part II)
This is part II of the dumb and outrageous pranks that happened today in the Japan/Otaku Blogosphere.
ABC Community:
The ABC community has one of the most elaborate dorama ever this year, with Owen as the main protagonist. The combination of CJ and DS’s post just made the thing seems so believable.
The entire ordeal provided me with losta trolling fun because I had fortunately managed to see through their plan from the start.
How so? Because coincidentally, just a day before the entire ordeal started, my friends and I have already decided to start planning for our major April Fools’ Day prank for my class presentation. Therefore, when I read CJ Blackwing’s post, it almost instantly occurred to me that they were starting a very elaborate prank.
I believed alot of poor innocent victims got pranked by their elaborate drama and I must give them props for managing to plan so way ahead to make the entire thing so successful.
DannyChoo & Nitro+:
Nitroplus studio and Dannychoo also came up with a fun prank where Danny’s blog mascot Mirai became the star of their “upcoming” eroge.
I would have fallen for that if not for the fact that previous year Danny tried to prank us into believing Mirai gets her own anime. (Which I actually did back then. Grrr!)
Circus:
They announced that they would be producing a bishounen game called D.C II B.L ~ Da Capo II ~ Blue Label
Ex-Fansubber ã²ã¨ã‚Šè¨€:
Hinano site was mysteriously invaded by Ronald McDonalds. LOL. I still can’t believe I sat through the entire McDonalds video.
Japan Probe:
James was nearly deported back to China and he was contemplating to change Japan Probe to China Probe instead. LOL
RIUVA:
The team at RIUVA has the most explicit prank of the day. They were gather photos of the largest, thickest and small manhood and winners get free Tengas. LOL
Thats basically the end of all the interesting pranks that I want to share with you all today. Of course they are so many other April Fools’ Day prank that are out there. Interested folks can check out Moonphase where they have an entire list of all pranks that happened today.
Anyway, for those interested in my own prank in school. My friends and I also started our own little drama during class presentation. We had prearranged to “gang up” on one friends who had conveniently “forgotten” to bring our powerpoint presentation. So she pretended to cry and stormed out of the room crying, leaving our lecturer and the rest of the class in shock. ^_^
Haha. it was good fun to play pranks on April Fools’ Day. Hopefully I didn’t get marks deducted for that. =P
EDIT: I can’t believe I spent do much time surfing the internet for pranks today that I’m now stuck at 1a.m. trying to finish writing my research paper that is due this Friday. >_<

Erm. We are really having a contest there, April Fool’s or not. Yes yes there’s a joke somewhere, and one of them will definitely involve posting the pictures. The contest is real though!
I was so trying to stay away from all the April fools pranks, but the Danny Choo one got me. It seemed the blogosphere went crazy with April fools this year.

Told him that Haruhi-chan is Haruhi season 2, but he fell for it (at which I used Kuroi-sensei’s line: posted in my blog).
